The L.A.U.N.C.H. Opportunity
The L.A.U.N.C.H. program features a team of three loveable characters from outer space, who have come to Earth seeking knowledge on healthy eating, active living and self-esteem. These characters are an integral part of the L.A.U.N.C.H. program as they work together to help students succeed in their missions to eat well, be active and feel good about themselves.
Developed by Registered Dietitians and based on USDA's MyPyramid, the L.A.U.N.C.H. initiative is routed in Kellogg Company's commitment to support children's healthy growth and development.

Pre-K Curriculum
Preschool children are at an ideal age to begin healthy habits that will grow with them throughout a lifetime. Our preschool curriculum will introduce children to basic nutrition and fitness concepts and vocabulary. Children will be encouraged to eat well, be active and feel good about their bodies.
K-1 Curriculum
Our K-1 curriculum will introduce young students to basic concepts about healthy eating, active living and positive self-esteem through fun, age-appropriate activities – such as coloring pages, songs and collages.
2-3 Curriculum
Students will begin their adventure by creating an “interplanetary ID.” With this “passport,” students will engage in a variety of adventures that will help them appreciate themselves and others, learn about ways to be healthy, and further explore the information found on food labels.
4-5 Curriculum
This unit will allow students to deepen their understanding of food and their bodies through fun experiments, nutrient “mysteries,” food journals and healthy living calendars. Students will also collect food packages to enable learning about their food choices.
6-8 Curriculum
Our curriculum for 6-8 grade includes a variety of activities to help students think critically about their food and activity choices. Activities include keeping a food feelings journal, setting physical activity goals and examining food labels.
